Kuyo Mon (Nine曜 Crest) This is highly likely a family crest painted on a foot soldier or attendant's jingasa (war hat) from the mid to late Edo period. It is thought that vassals of the Sanada, Utsunomiya, and Kikkawa families, among others, used this crest.
