This is likely an old Kyoto-style lacquerware bowl. It features an exquisite design with extremely fine sen-suji (thousand-line) grooves and a graceful karakusa (Arabesque) maki-e (sprinkled picture) design on the inside. The understated design has a touch of tea ceremony aesthetic, and the overall construction is of high quality. Its generous size makes it perfect for ozoni (New Year's soup). There are only minor signs of wear, such as slight discoloration and a few small scratches, but overall it is in good condition. The size is 13.6 cm in diameter and 10.5 cm in height.
