Thank you very much to the previous seller! This is a Tsujigahana kimono, perfect for special occasions. Although it's a gorgeous Tsujigahana, it's still a Komon (casual kimono), so you don't have to be as strict about the formality of the obi (sash) like you would with a Tsukesage or Homongi. Personally, I think it's a kimono where you can enjoy various styles with the obi and accessories, such as a not-too-extravagant fukuro obi (formal obi) or Nagoya obi (semi-formal obi), or a well-defined hanhaba obi (half-width obi) with a Karuta Musubi or Kaisenoguchi knot. The color is navy blue, which, combined with the gorgeousness of the Tsujigahana, makes it a wonderful item. Moreover, it's a wide size, which is great for those who are plump, and it's hand-sewn. I really loved it, but unfortunately, due to my age, I've found that Awase kimonos are just too hot, so I'm selling it while it's still in good condition.
