Harlequin is a character from Italian comedy, a jester who wears a distinctive diamond-patterned costume. This design features the diamond pattern in various colors. Despite the use of multiple colors, the subdued tones and the blurred edges of each motif create a more elegant and mature impression. The rim, which appears to be gold, is likely khaki (ocher).
