"Ushi no Tsuno-zumo (Bull Sumo)" has been widely known since ancient times in Ojiya, Niigata Prefecture, and the Nijyumura area as a brave religious event to pray for a bountiful harvest, family safety, and the healthy growth of children. "Mokugyu (Wooden Bull)" expresses the powerful figure of the yokozuna bull in this bull sumo. How about it for those interested in simplified and abbreviated Japanese designs? Although there is some staining due to aging from being over 50 years old, it is not visible on the wood itself. The last photo is a collection of bull figures I have collected.
