✳︎Size: 5.3cm x 6.2cm Weight: 32g A mint condition item, never displayed. This is a "Osaka Hato-guruma" (Osaka Pigeon Cart) made by Tomibayashi Toys, a paper mache toy maker, some time ago. It is a reproduction of Osaka paper mache toys from before the war, made as a hobby toy. This work is commonly called "Hato-guruma" (Pigeon Cart), but it also seems to resemble a "Uso-guruma" (Bullfinch Cart) as a bird. In Mr. Kyosen Kawasaki's toy book from before the war, it is listed as "Tori-guruma" (Bird Cart).
