Soaked in a large water tank with water and baking soda for 30 days, with regular water changes. Soaked in fresh water for about 7 days, washed with water and brushed clean, and then dried. Please understand that this is amateur-level tannin removal. While I strive for careful work, there may be sand and dirt that cannot be completely removed from the driftwood. Also, as it is a natural product, there may be cracks and splits.
