I am selling a set of 4 stamps + 1 label from the vintage Chinese special stamp "Fairy Tale - 'Gudong'". Symbol: T.51 (4 types complete + 1 label) Issue Date: June 1, 1980 Issuing Agency: Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the People's Republic of China "Gudong" is a fairy tale, and the basic plot is as follows: A ripe quince (papaya) falls into a lake, making a "gudong" sound. A timid rabbit runs away shouting, "Gudong is coming!" Other animals, without knowing what's happening, are startled and blindly run away following the rabbit. Then a wise lion appears, takes everyone back to the lake, and after calmly observing, they realize it was just a false alarm (misunderstanding). This fairy tale vividly teaches children the lesson that when facing things, they should carefully examine the situation like the wise lion and not act rashly. On June 1, 1980, to commemorate "June 1st" International Children's Day, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the People's Republic of China issued this special stamp "Fairy Tale - 'Gudong'". The stamp consists of 4 stamps in total, with one label. Stamp 1 (left 1) is titled "'Gudong'". The design depicts a ripe papaya falling into the water, making a "dong" sound, and a rabbit startled by the sound, running away. Stamp 2 (left 2) is titled "'Gudong' is coming!". The design depicts the rabbit running and shouting, "'Gudong' is coming!", and other animals starting to act without knowing what's happening. Stamp 3 (left 3) is titled "'Gudong'!?". The design depicts a male lion calmly calling out to the fleeing animals, "Don't run around recklessly. First, let's find out what 'dong' is!" Stamp 4 (left 4) is titled "Ah! Papaya". The design depicts the animals returning to the lake to find out what "'Gudong'" is, and just then, a ripe quince (papaya) falls into the lake again, making a "dong" sound, and they finally realize it was just a false alarm. The label (right 1) uses text and small decorations to supplement the content of each design. This is a used item from that time. I believe it is in good condition for a used item from that time.
