Now a rare item, no longer available on the market, this is a top-of-the-line bokuto (wooden sword) made of genuine ebony, crafted by skilled artisans. As a martial arts enthusiast, I own two ebony bokuto. I've decided that having multiple bokuto for practice is unnecessary, so I'm listing one for sale. The other ebony bokuto, "Made by the third-generation Wakoh, resident of Miyakonojo, Hyuga Province," will be relisted after the New Year. Total length: 101.5cm Weight: 730g (actual measurement) Relatively slender, with a carefully crafted sword peak. Currently, there are no ebony bokuto listed on Rakuten Ichiba (Japanese online shopping site). Although made-to-order options are available on other sites, a similar ebony katana is priced at 187,000 yen. Due to difficulties in acquisition, resource depletion, rising prices, and the weak yen, prices are expected to continue to increase. There are two noticeable dents and one long scratch (see photos 4 and 5).
