Prusik Rope 7mm x 10m Purchased for use as a rescue rope for descending and ascending in slightly dangerous areas such as canyoning and rocky mountains. This rope is suitable for backup use, and I think it's the easiest to use with a Machard. Personally, I feel it has a bit too much friction for a Clove Hitch. I think it depends on the compatibility with the rope you're using. Please consider using several for backup purposes.
