This is a silk obi締め (decorative cord for a kimono obi) from the Showa era. Unused (new old stock). Purchased at Daimaru Department Store. It has been stored in a chest of drawers since the time of purchase. The colors are a calm orange and white. The white appears slightly skin-toned. It's an elegant, flat braid. It has a gentle and modest impression, but also a touch of華やかさ (glamour), making it a versatile piece. The length is unknown because it is bundled. Please refer to the images. How about it for fashionable wear or semi-formal occasions? It can also be used for remaking or cosplay. Since it is unused, there is no major damage. However, as it is quite old, there may be unseen deterioration over time or minor oversights. There might be some discoloration on the white parts.
