This is a gorgeous haori featuring an embroidered design on high-quality, textured silk (正絹). The color is an elegant blend of peach and orange, with the color sample (last image) showing "Entan-iro" (vermilion) as the closest match. My mother had it made for me, but I never wore it, and it has been stored in a Japanese chest of drawers. It's a beautiful haori, and I hope someone will wear it for occasions like a baby's first shrine visit (Omiyamairi), Shichi-Go-San, graduation ceremonies, or entrance ceremonies.
