Of course, I store the camera in a camera-specific dehumidifying cabinet. The EOS M5 was purchased at a major camera store around May '25. It was only taken outdoors once (for about 2 hours), and its main use was for indoor photography of items for sale on a flea market. The M5 body is undamaged, operates smoothly, and the strap has been replaced with an easy-to-use one. A protective film has been applied to the monitor. The lens was purchased when it was released as a lens set for the old M3. It was around 2016, so about 9 years have passed. The lens has no scratches on the front or rear elements, and there is no mold or moisture. If anything, there are some scuffs that appear to have been caused by friction when attaching the lens, due to the plastic mount.
