This piece is based on different vintage indigo-dyed fabrics, with various scraps of indigo-dyed fabric stitched together in a variety of ways. The item with rose embroidery uses scraps of fabric from Minä Perhonen. The reverse side features various fabrics, including Japanese sarasa (rooster), plant-dyed corduroy, and kasuri. The finished product varies depending on the thickness of the fabric on the back. ◎Size: Approximately 11.5 cm (length and width at the longest points) Two layers of batting are sandwiched in between, making a total of five layers of fabric. Each tag is made from raw-edged fabric from a ralli quilt. Can be used as a coaster. Also suitable for placing vases, folk art items, and other small objects.
