This is a rare, discontinued wooden-bodied fountain pen. The wood is briar, a deciduous shrub from the heath family (Erica arborea) native to the Mediterranean region. The burl, or gnarled root mass, of plants aged 25-100 years is primarily used, often for making pipes. The briar body is durable and hard. The comfortable feel and the luster that develops with use are also attractive features. The nib width is medium. It has been confirmed that it writes without any problems.
