I used them for about a year. The wire on the right shoe broke when it got caught on rocks, so I replaced it with a new one. My foot size is 26.5 cm, but I chose 3L (27.0-28.0 cm) for a little extra room. I wore them for one season and had no problems at all. I have absolutely no athlete's foot or anything similar.
