I've taken it on fishing trips about 10 times as one of several rods I own. I used it with a rod stand. I haven't used it recently and have been storing it for a while. This is a flexible rod that bends throughout, making it easy to cast light lures and less likely to lose fish after hooking them. However, it's not a flimsy rod; it has a moderate amount of stiffness, making it easy to cast. The short length makes it easy for women to handle, and it's a rod that's less likely to lose bites near your feet. Originally, the reel seat had a cork grip, but since it was in good condition with almost no blackening or cork missing when I bought it, I wrapped it with a heat-shrink grip to protect its condition. In my amateur opinion, there don't seem to be any noticeable cracks in the guide rings or cracks in the epoxy of the guide threads. There are minor scratches and signs of use, but there are no other noticeable scratches or damage, and the overall condition is good. I have uploaded many images so you can see the condition.
