Hornsea Saffron Salt & Pepper Set, 1973 Vintage Antique, England Two Hornsea spice pots from England A salt and pepper set from 1973. Purchased over 10 years ago from an antique specialty store. Since the time of purchase, the lid of the one-hole (salt) pot is loose due to the deterioration of the packing and does not close tightly. I have displayed it as a collection. (The five-hole (pepper) pot closes securely.) The ceramic parts are in relatively good condition, but there are some scratches and small dents. (These are indicated by the red circles in the photos.) The lids are also wooden, so there are some scratches. Please consider this item if you understand that it is a vintage, old item.
