The bag itself is in plastic due to a replacement for a defective item. The shoulder strap is from the original purchase at the end of last year and is also brand new and unused. Pionunnal announced that some bags had issues with the D-rings, but this bag is a new replacement for the defective part, which was remade and delivered on March 27th.
