I purchased this at a department store several years ago. It's a subdued gold color. It's lightweight and has pockets on the front sides and back, as well as inside. I haven't had many opportunities to use it, so I've been storing it. I think it can be used regardless of age. This is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such things. I have pets, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about that.
