Thank you for viewing! Using crepe and rayon fabrics, I've created adorable little red and blue oni (ogre) characters holding clubs using the tsumami zaiku (pinched fabric) technique. Overflowing from the masu (wooden measuring box) are the korokoro (round) Setsubun beans. I've also included hiiragi iwashi (holly and sardine), which ward off evil, packing in auspicious motifs typical of Setsubun. It's designed as a photo frame, so you can display it as is in your favorite spot in your room, such as the entrance, living room, or on a shelf. It's perfect as a seasonal decoration and can be used year after year. Recommended for Setsubun decorations or as a gift. The decorative part is postcard size.
