This is a very old iron tsuba (sword guard). It depicts the scene of a raid. The powerful design of a person subduing an armored warrior with bare hands is magnificent. The complex design is expressed with beautiful inlay and high-relief carving. It has a lustrous iron ground. I believe it is a very fine piece. 8.3 cm × 7.75 cm × 4.0 mm
