This adapter raises a 50mm square, 2-inch hitch carrier by approximately 180mm. The hitch carrier insertion opening is 51.6mm square internally, so it can be used with CURT 2-inch square hitch carriers. The hitch member insertion side is 50mm square externally. We have not performed strength calculations, so we cannot give a precise answer. The material used is 4.5mm thick for the side inserted into the hitch member, and 4.2mm thick for the side that attaches to the hitch carrier, so please compare it with the thickness of the steel material of your planned hitch carrier as a guide. Please use this for hitch carrier use on low-floor vehicles. The bolts attached near the insertion opening are for preventing rattling. The material is steel. The distance from the center of the upper square pipe to the center of the lower square pipe is approximately 180mm. Please note that the back door may interfere depending on the vehicle you are using. It is matte black painted and is a new, unused item, but it is not a beautiful paint job with scratches and uneven paint, so please refrain from bidding if you are concerned.
