Non-smoking environment. The leather is not too thick, lightweight, and fits comfortably in the hand, allowing you to attach your preferred strap. It covers up to the shoulder area above the strap lugs, effectively protecting the camera. Easy to attach and detach, as there's no need to screw into the tripod socket.
