Cosmic, spacey, funky, and soulful, the evolved jazz sound is here! Only YUSUKE HIRADO can create this unique sound that fuses jazz, hip-hop, and electronica! While following in the footsteps of broken beat pioneers like Dego, Kaidi Tatham, and Henry Wu, who represent the West London scene, the influence of jazz masters such as Miles Davis, whom he reveres, and jazz/rare groove giants like Roy Ayers and James Mason is also strongly felt! The title, "TOWER OF TOUCH," is a fitting name for the keyboardist Hirado, who aims to reach the world through the touch of his fingertips, representing the "pinnacle of touch" in this work! The members recruited for this project include Takuya Nakayama, a 23-year-old bassist from the promising young jazz band Gecko & Tokage Parade, and Masaki Nagata, a drummer known as a member of ZAI IN FUNK and for his collaborations with Hajime Yoshizawa! The sessions, which have a high degree of freedom, develop into a single story, creating an unprecedented sense of tension and excitement in Hirado's work.
