☆ This is a "Yotsume Ami" (four-eye weave) bamboo basket, carefully crafted from fresh madake bamboo (from Fukuoka Prefecture). The strips of bamboo are meticulously beveled one by one for a beautiful and sturdy finish.
☆ The rim is bound and secured with 2mm-wide Yamato Kagari stitching.
☆ This is a domestically-made bamboo basket with excellent drainage and breathability. Bamboo baskets are ideal for cooking because they don't easily retain water, allowing for quick drainage, and they are also heat-resistant. Furthermore, they are made from natural materials, so they are safe to use.
☆ Usable in any season, the delicate weave is beautiful and can be displayed as storage (^^)
