Thank you for viewing. This is a B♭ clarinet mouthpiece purchased several years ago. It was selected at Selmer Japan in Shibuya and used for about six months, but has been stored since then. Manufacturer: Vandoren Model: B40 Profile For: B♭ Clarinet I am selling it because I have replaced it with a new one and will not be using it anymore. There is some peeling of the logo and minor scratches from normal use, giving it a used feel, but it is still usable. The B40 Profile has a slightly narrower space between the reed and the table than the B40. It may be recommended for those who find the B40 a bit heavy. Regarding reeds, I used silver box 3.5. Although mouthpieces have individual differences, I try to choose ones that allow air to flow naturally and have a moderate resistance. (※Please note that this is a personal preference.) 【Notes】 ・There are minor scratches on the table part where the reed contacts, which are normal from use. There are also minor scratches on the tip, but I don't think they significantly affect the tone. The logo is reflected because I used Vandoren reeds, but I don't think this significantly affects the tone either. ・Over time, mineral components can calcify, causing the mouthpiece to turn white in places. Some of this remains on the tip, even after wiping. I will wash and disinfect it before placing it in a box and shipping it. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to used items.
