The lacquer is generally clean and in good condition, but as shown in the second picture, some of the lacquer on the back of the bell has peeled off. There are some minor scratches, scuffs, and shallow dents in places, but there are no major dents, and they do not affect playing at all. Also, the rotary levers and tuning slides all function, so it's ready to play immediately. It features a flexible blowing feel throughout the entire range, and the ease of control and balanced, soft, stable, and clear tone are impressive.
