The quality of the work and performance hinges on rhythm, which is an obvious fact, but this album makes you realize the significant presence of the drums. It makes you feel that whether the collaborating artists' abilities are utilized or not depends on the drummer. Of course, it's Sanchez who can bring out their talents. That's why Metheny has kept him for over 10 years. The original songs that capture the individuality of each collaborator are also wonderful. This is a work that further raises expectations for Sanchez, a musician who also demonstrates his sense as a composer!
