This starry sky sailor collar dress was a very popular item, but it was discontinued due to issues with the fabric and sewing. I read reviews that it could tear from the waist, so I had the waist area sewn with a sewing machine before using it. I checked that area, and personally, I didn't notice anything and was able to wear it without any problems. I've worn it about 3 times for outings and washed it, but I don't think there is any noticeable damage. The design is really cute, and it's a shame that I've outgrown it. It hasn't frayed or torn, but I feel that the fabric itself is somewhat prone to damage. Please purchase only if you are not concerned. Please refrain from purchasing if you are a nervous person.
