I hung this in my parents' house entrance for many years. It's quite used, so there's some dirt. The chain with the beads is about 23cm long. It makes a nice sound. I had it fixed to the entrance door, and when the door opened, it would make a pleasant sound, so I knew when someone had arrived. If you don't want it to make a sound, you can remove the three metal pieces, and it won't hit the beads. I think it's made of copper, but I'm not certain, so I've put a question mark. Please understand that this is a used item before considering a purchase.
