Sewing scissors belonging to my mother, who made her living as a dressmaker and seamstress. I believe they were purchased in the Showa or early Heisei era, but it seems they were not used very often. She stopped sewing and has decided to part with them. The blades have a zigzag pattern. I think they are called pinking shears, but I'm not sure of the details as I don't know much about them. There is a silver chip of about 2mm on the back of the handle (see photo), but otherwise there is no rust, and the overall condition is shiny and good. However, they are still vintage, so please be aware of minor scratches. As a novice, the blades feel stiff when closing them, but perhaps this is normal. The sharpness is very good. They cut with a snap. Marked "Gen Tsunenobu Tokusei" (Made by Gen Tsunenobu).
