Handmade wooden (hinoki cypress) offering stand for Shinto amulets. I created this with the intention of beautifully displaying my own home shrine. I've made several similar items, hoping someone else will find them useful. Approximate sizes: Base: 7 x 27 x 2 cm Torii gate: 19 cm (height) x 16 cm (width) The torii gate is inspired by the Isuzu River at Ise Jingu Shrine. The torii gate is simply inserted into the base. By reversing the front and back, you can change its use to an "amulet stand" or "offering display," as shown in photos 3 and 8. The back panel for holding the amulets is secured with screws. If you decide on a permanent use and don't plan to change it, you can further strengthen it by gluing it with wood glue. Photos 8, 9, and 10 show the base reversed and used as an offering display. Photo 11 shows everything that will be shipped. Amulets and offering items are not included. The photos are for size and shape reference. The item shipped will be a similar product. Recycled packaging materials will be used. If you purchase multiple items and they can be shipped together, the shipping cost will be reduced accordingly. The shipping method may be changed between Yu-Yu Mercari and Raku-Raku Mercari without prior notice. Thank you for your understanding. #TakawataHandmade #TakawataTorii #ShintoShrineSupplies #WoodenTorii #ToriiWoodworking #HomeShrineTorii #AmuletHolder #AmuletStand
