These are colored pens with rounded tips, not highlighters. They are scented, and the fragrance still lingers. I tested the ink flow of both the thick and thin tips. The thin tip of the red pen produced intermittent ink flow. Please refer to the photos. There is some minor soiling, but it's not very noticeable.
