2026 marks the 40th anniversary of Jenny, so it's a Jenny celebration, as I see it (*^_^*) About 32 years ago, when the revival of Friend Dolls was still a distant dream... In the winter 1994 issue of JeNny magazine, published by Nihon Vogue, a popularity poll was held to determine which Friend Dolls would be revived. In the spring 1995 issue of JeNny magazine, it was announced that the doll in 3rd place would be revived, and that doll, Elise, was released in February 1995. She was a pioneer in the re-release of Friend Dolls. (Elise was popular back then (*^^*) ) Her friendly smile makes her a cheerful and cute young lady. Elise, with that history, doesn't seem to have any particular age-related issues, considering she's a 31-year-old doll. The only thing is, it's a little difficult to see in the photos, but there's a slight messiness in the back of her hair. (Please check the photos) She is being sold in her original leotard. There is no box. I think she's in good condition considering her age, but she is, after all, a doll from about 31 years ago.
