This work also has buildings and bridges carved in great detail, and the moon is inlaid with mother-of-pearl, making the exquisite finish admirable. [Gyokko] (1830-1867) In "Research on Netsuke" by Denreikichi, he is called Gyokkosai and is skilled in wood and ivory carving. He was a good netsuke carver, active from the Tempo era to around the Keio era. The Tokyo National Museum also has netsuke by the same artist.
