This is a work by my father. It's a sumi-e (ink wash painting) of a Commelina (dayflower) flower. The frame is made from repurposed Japanese clothing (kimono) and obi sashes. An acrylic film is applied over the painting to prevent deterioration. It comes with a string for hanging on the wall. Size: Approximately 27.1cm (height), 20.3cm (width), 8mm (thickness), and weighs about 238g.
