I am listing this item as I am decluttering. This is a gift that I couldn't bring myself to use, so it has been stored in my kitchen cabinets. I would like to pass it on to someone who will use it. This is a tray made with Ryukyu lacquerware, a traditional Okinawan craft. The contrast between the vibrant vermilion on the surface and the jet black on the back is very beautiful. A distinctive feature is the design of the rim, where the natural bamboo nodes are preserved as they are. The size is also convenient and seems easy to use. The outer box has some small age-related stains on the back, but the tray itself shows no dirt or damage. I will ship it with waterproofing measures, including the box.
