Thank you for viewing. This is an Imban-zara (transfer-printed plate) I purchased about 10 years ago. The center design features either five-petaled flowers or plum blossoms. The window frames are decorated with a Shippo-tsunagi (seven treasures) pattern in a cross shape. Inside the window frames are landscapes with mountains and water. In the center is a house. In the back left, there's a uniquely shaped conifer. Perhaps it's a stylized cedar. In the distance are mountains, resembling pictograms. The natural scenery is well-depicted. Combined with the Shippo-tsunagi pattern, it may convey the wish for these peaceful times to last forever. It's a common Imban-te (transfer-printed) small plate, but upon close examination, you can feel the thoughts of the time. There are no noticeable chips or scratches. There are few scuffs.
