I wanted to knit a Sophie Hood and went yarn hunting. Baby cashmere is the best! I decided on this yarn for one piece. I'm having trouble deciding on the color~ It's a glossy yarn that becomes fluffy as you knit. An elegant mocha color. It's very light and fluffy and soft. It doesn't feel scratchy against the neck. The thickness looks similar to Opal 4-ply, but it's because it's fluffy. Cream color sample. I've included comparison images. The Opal yarn is not included in the product. It's 50g with 350m. Will it result in a lighter piece...? I tried knitting various swatches. Mocha color is 2 strands with a 3.5mm needle. Cream color is 3 strands with a 5mm needle. Blue gray is 2 strands with a 5mm needle. Orange brown is 1 strand with a 3.5mm needle. It looks like it will have a very delicate finish. Please refer to this.
