A large earthenware ceramic bowl, or perhaps suitable as a vase. It has been stored in my in-law's cupboard for a long time. It's a heavy bowl with an irregular shape. Looking at the texture of the clay, it has the feel of Shigaraki-yaki or Hagi-yaki, but the details are unknown. There appear to be no cracks, chips, or stains. Looking closely at the underside, you can see what appears to be the unique cracking of pottery, but it is not broken. Shipping and Mercari fees will cost nearly 1000 yen, so please refrain from further price reductions unless you are purchasing multiple items that can be shipped together.
