This is a TOSHIBA LCD TV, model 50M530X. I purchased it new from Costco about 5 years ago. About two weeks ago, it suddenly stopped turning on. I had a repair person come, and they replaced the main board, but it seems the LCD's LEDs are damaged. The repair cost would be high, so I decided not to proceed with the repair. The symptoms are: when I turn it on, the power lamp on the unit lights up, but there's no picture or sound. The power lamp then turns off immediately, and the TV turns on again automatically, repeating this cycle. Other than the above, there are no major scratches or cracks/splits in the LCD. It was working without any problems. I think there are some minor scratches from normal use. The remote control also works. I hope those who can repair it or use it for parts will consider it, understanding the condition. Shipping is not included.
