This is an obi (sash) for a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) purchased from Kyoto Kimono Yuzen. It has been stored in the condition shown in the images since purchase and has never been unfolded. It is new and unused, so I believe you can use it with peace of mind. It is stored as shown in the images, but please note that it will be folded compactly, protected from water, and shipped in a paper bag or similar.
