I upcycled a kimono after washing it. I made comfortable sarouel pants. I paid close attention to the design of the hem, aiming for pants that are easy to wear. They can be worn either way, front or back. I am constantly making improvements to make them even better. The waist uses two rows of thin elastic, as thick elastic tends to bunch up. I'm not familiar with kimono materials, but I mainly use cool, smooth fabrics that are perfect for summer. Once you try them on, you'll be hooked! Please give them a try.
