Yokkaichi's local industry is Banko-yaki. Hand-painted cylindrical white porcelain with a landscape painting. The work is over 50 years old, and my grandfather, a painter, painted the teapot, which is also white and rare. Because it is handmade, opening and closing the thin lid is a graceful experience; if you rush, it feels like it might break. Both height and width are 11 centimeters.
