It's a pullover type (poncho), so as long as the head fits through, it's like a free size. (In the case of my child, they wore clothes from size 80 to 130.) The cape has cute design with white faux fur pom-poms at the ends of the ties and on the hat. Although it's thin, it's a full circle (donut-shaped when laid flat), so a lot of fabric is used, and it's quite warm and has a beautiful silhouette when worn. The cape has a lining for good slip. (The knit hat has no lining.) Because my child had sensitive skin, I used lingerie-quality fabric, but I couldn't get enough fabric to make a full circle like the cape, so it's pieced together. The cape ties are made of cotton and don't loosen easily. The neckline can be tightened somewhat like a drawstring. I used it every Christmas season for 6 years. Therefore, there is some damage to the fur and some pilling. There is almost no fading.
