While there is no signature on the blade itself, there is a copper-like substance attached, perhaps as a substitute. Overall, it shows little sign of use. The shinogi surface, or the polished surface, of the blade has a marbled pattern before polishing, and I thought it would become clearer with polishing, but instead, it became less distinct. As you can see in the photos, the edge still shows the layers more clearly. The handle is a beautifully tight-grained flow-through masame. The habuchi (blade mouth) is also narrow. The uragane (back metal) is very solid and thick. I wonder what kind of sharpness it has. Please refrain from price negotiations, except for bulk purchases.
