Used BURNY/Burny (FERNANDES/Fernandes) Les Paul type guitar. This model has a thinner body than standard Les Paul types. ・Tuners The original Kluson-type tuners have been replaced with GOTOH Grover-type tuners. The original screw holes remain. ・Neck The finish on the back of the neck has been sanded to a matte finish to prevent slipping when sweating. ・Nut The nut has been replaced with a TUSQ nut. The nut mounting surface was roughened when removing the original nut, so it has been repaired. The repair marks are barely noticeable. ・Truss Rod Turns both ways. Currently, the neck is almost straight. The truss rod cover was warped and the cut surface was rough, so it has been sanded and repaired overall. As a result, the nut side is slightly shorter. ・Frets The original frets were low, so they have been replaced with larger Jescar frets. I forgot the model number, so please check the images. Adhesive has been applied between the frets and the fingerboard. ・Electronics The pickup selector switch has been replaced with a Gibson-type (non-Gibson genuine) switch. The pots are CTS. Only the rear tone pot has been replaced with a push-push switch pot (manufacturer unknown) for coil tapping. It works fine if pressed slowly and surely, but sometimes it doesn't switch when pressed quickly. To alleviate the thin sound when coil tapping, a resistor has been added and grounded. The capacitors are Orange Drop. KESTER44 solder was used. Since the original string ground was questionable, the stop tailpiece on the body top and the front tone pot body are directly connected with a cable. The pot knobs are intentionally different colors for the front and rear. ・Pickups Duncan Designed HB-101 (SH-1 type) pickups have been installed. The output is relatively low for a humbucker. ・Hardware The bridge/tailpiece has been replaced with GOTOH parts. ・Overall, there are some scratches and some paint chips, but there are no problems with use.
