The base is a gold-threaded fabric that isn't overly yellow, with a pastel blue to pink gradation, flowing water embroidery, and lovely heart-shaped flower embroidery, such as cute pastel-colored pompom chrysanthemums. It's an elegant and lovely fukuro obi with a restrained sparkle that isn't too flashy. The obi core isn't too stiff, so it should be easy to tie. The reverse side is plain ivory.
