This is made from a disassembled old girl's kimono, and still has creases, wrinkles, and tarnishing of the gold leaf. I've taken photos of all the parts and any noticeable stains. I believe it's silk, as I burned a thread to test it, but it's a bit stiff due to the painted-on pattern (Pentex). It might be rayon.
